DPS Florida President Dennis Gallagher meets with Mayor Buckhorn to discuss the local Tampa business climate.
Dennis Gallagher, President and Owner of Dominion Payroll Services, Florida (DPS) recently met one-to-one with the Mayor of Tampa, Bob Buckhorn. Dennis initially met then candidate Buckhorn during the recent mayoral election and discussed getting together once the election passed. The objective of the meeting was to introduce Mayor Buckhorn to DPS, share our history and plans for growth in Florida but anchored here in Tampa and discuss ways Dennis and DPS can make Tampa, an already great place to live and work, even better.
Dennis and the Mayor discussed a number of important topics ranging from the current economic climate here in the Tampa Bay area to job growth and the local school community. Both Dennis and the Mayor agreed there is a lot of very positive and growing business happening here in Tampa Bay that often goes unnoticed or is overshadowed by the current real-estate mortgage crisis.
Being an avid Rays fan, the highlight of the meeting for Dennis was the opportunity to discuss the current Rays stadium challenge and ways we as a regional community need to come together and find a creative solution that meets the needs of the fans, the team and the local business community. Dennis and DPS looks forward to building a relationship with Mayor Buckhorn and his team as well as providing the support needed to continually enhance our business climate here in Tampa Bay.
